November 2011 Trip Update 1

The team enjoyed Sunday morning at a kids church at a

primary school in Bugolobi near the Kiswa slum. There are about 100-200 kids show up on their
own every Sunday to sing, hear a message and get an egg and some milk. Then we drove out to a village called Mityana
where we visited an orphanage and school where Music for Life has selected kids
for their program. After a few songs at the
orphanage we visited a choir kid’s home in the village. The team was moved and humbled by their
modest dwelling. And, of course, the day
was packed full of full body thrashings that can only come from the
pothole-filled roads in Uganda.
